This post is in response to some of the questions the N-EXIT Batches A and B N-Power Applicants that are yet to successfully register for N-EXIT are asking.

FIVE CHANGES BATCH C MAY EXPERIENCE IN N-POWER PROGRAMME

Below are some of the changes that may occur in batch C N-Power Programme:
1) According to the N-Power management team, the duration for the N-Power Programme has been reduced from 2 years to 1 year. This is, as a result, to accommodate more youths into the Programme yearly. (Note batches A and B spend More than two years in the Programme)
2) Unlike batch A and B N-Power Volunteers who had to wait to be disengaged and then directed to register for a new FG Scheme N-EXIT, batch C will automatically be Integrated into the Nexit platform upon disengagement to access their exit package
3) The N-Power batch A enjoyed some benefits which the batch B and C did not enjoy, benefit like free electronic devices and 1 year of free data for learning purpose.
4) The N-Power batch A were given the opportunity to meet with the N-Power management team in the situation room in Abuja to discuss matters that concerned them. It was like a free and fair thing at that time. This might not happen with batch c.
5) N-Power batch A and B made a lot of sacrifices which the incoming batch C will enjoy. Their agitation for Permanency resulted in the creation of the N-EXIT scheme.
6) There was periodic Facebook live video Interaction between the N-Power boss Mr Afolabi and Beneficiaries. Batch C may not experience this anymore because Mr Afolabi is no more in charge of N-Power. Although the new management may decide to come up with their mode of interaction with batch c volunteers

N-Power BATCH C: TEST PORTAL DOWN WITH NETWORK ISSUES

The nasims.gov.ng which is the portal recently launched by the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, social investment and disaster management to take care of all social investment program and which is currently been used to take the N-Power batch C test have been faced with massive traffic.
This massive traffic has ultimately overwhelmed the portal, thereby either slowing the system or shutting it down temporarily. This has left many of the applicants frustrated and some losing interest in taking the test.
However, from yesterday being the 19th of March till this morning the test portal has not been accessible.
Analysis has said it might be due to the abnormalities experienced by applicants who took the test on the evening of Tuesday and Wednesday this week whereby, applicant were given between 2 second to 10 minutes and once it got the maximum time of 20 minutes were given a uniform score of 55.0%.
But we hope very soon, everything should be rectified.

N-power: How To Solve "Verification Failed" Message

While I was having this issue I realised I registered with two mail addresses during the time of registration, and what made me to register twice was that, I was part of those that registered when the site have not been officially opened so N-Power came up with if you registered when the site has not open that means your registration is invalid so I reregistered with a new mail, and phone number, so now that we are writting the exam I went and used that my initial registration to write the test and system is telln me that my NPower is not verified, I tried and tried and as I was trying I now remembered that I did two registration, immediately I started afresh with the second registration with the second registered mail and everything went successfully.
In summary check if you registered twice with two mail. If the frist mail is not working out try the second mail you applied with thanks.

N-POWER: FAKE WEBSITE FMHDS WARNED YOU ABOUT

This is to inform the public and prospective N-Power batch C applicants undergoing a computer-based test that the only authentic website for them to carry out the test is the NASIMS webpage https://nasims.gov.ng.
There is a fake message generated from a fake website informing N-Power applicants about a purported screening test scheduled to hold on 23rd May 2021 by 11:00am. See screenshots.
Taking a clear look at the fake website, It's web address is www.npower.fmhds-gov-ng.web.app. Observe that the scammers that created the fake site used hyphen (-) to separate “fmhds”, “gov” and “ng” thereby making it look like the real Federal Ministry of Humanitarian affairs website used for N-Power Registration few months ago, in order to obtain personal information from unsuspecting and innocent N-power applicants.
A few days ago FMHADMSD unveiled the NASIMS portal link for N-Power Applicants. The new enrollment portal for the batch C Applicants.
Recall that during the N-Power batch C application period months ago, the same fake website did the same thing until the N-Power team and the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs intervened and decided to release a statement warning applicants to stay clear from the fake website. See screenshot.
For clarity, the real Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs website is https://npower.fmhds.gov.ng. Observe it is different from the fake one mentioned earlier above. The genuine N-Power site uses dots (.) throughout, with no hyphen.
Please note that the only genuine N-Power website now for Batch C is the NASIMS portal.

THE BEST DEVICE TO WRITE NASIMS NPOWER BATCH C TEST

Some of the Applicants have already lost the chance of being selected for the next stage of the recruitment process because they have exhausted all the 3 attempt slots for not submitting the test before the test time out.
Though you can use Mobile phones, the best device for the test is a computer or wider screen tablet because you will have the chance to glance at all parts of the test portal screen given you room to see your test time and questions answered on the go. This will enable you to meet up with the 20 minutes time allotted for the 20 questions.
Note the following:
a) The test is time-based and you are expected to answer 20 questions within 20 minutes.
b) Test cannot be retaken after submission.
c) You cannot skip any question.
d) Every question is allotted an equal score.
e) If you are timed out after the third attempt without submitting, you will not be able to take the test again.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NPOWER NASIMS AND N-EXIT PORTAL

This post is to clarify the difference between the NPower NASIMS Portal and N-EXIT Portal in order to prevent anything that will cause confusion between the prospective batch C Applicants and the exited Npower batches A and B Volunteers.
As you may all be aware that the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, disaster management, and social development have commenced the selection process of Recruiting 500,000 batch C Volunteers so also the process of empowering the exited batches A and B Npower Volunteers is ongoing.
In view of the above, the Ministry of Humanitarian affairs developed a new portal for the prospective batch C Applicants called National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS). This portal belongs to only Npower batch C and other NSIP Beneficiaries and has nothing to do with exited Npower Volunteers.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs in partnership with the CBN launched a portal called N-EXIT solely for the exited NPower batches A and B Volunteers and has nothing to do with batch C.
So, therefore, the difference is that N-EXIT portal belongs to only NPower batch A and B while the NASIMS portal belongs to NPower batch C and other NSIP beneficiaries.

HOW TO SCORE ABOVE 50% IN NASIMS NPOWER BATCH C TEST

1) First you must obtain your login details by recovering your password and update your record on the NASIMS portal as that is the first step of the process which we believe you are through with.
2) You must have copied your NASIMS ID since that is the key to unlocking the test portal.
3) Make sure you are using a strong browser and a good data network. If not, take the test at midnight when traffic to the NASIMS portal is not heavy(off-peak period).
4) If you are ready with the things stated above, then you are ready to write the test. Visit https://onlinetest.nasims.gov.ng with your NASIMS ID and password to start the test
5) You must not be scared of writing the test, stay positive while writing the test as that will protect you against exam nervousness.
6) Read questions fast and accurately so that you can maximize the 20 minutes set to answer all questions.
7) You can not skip any question so do not waste too much time on a question you do not know the answer to, simply use your instinct to pick an answer and move to the next.
8) Remember the NASIMS N-power batch C test consists of 20 questions to be answered in 20 minutes. However, you have only 3 attempts after time out without submitting your test.
Finally, do not take the test until you have updated all your information on the NASIMS portal. Practice quantitative, numerical, and sentence correction questions.

N-POWER BATCH C: WHY WE LAUNCHED NSIP INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - Sadiya Umar Farouq

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Sadiya Umar Farouq says the next batch of
N-Power beneficiaries will be administered through the National Social Investment and Information Management System NASIMS to ensure transparency.
The minister made the remark on Thursday at the launch of the system, developed to optimize and complement the structural reforms of Social Investment Programs and other activities of the ministry.
Umar Farouq stated that the ICT tools will be systematically used for coordination, administration, monitoring and stakeholder management across all Social Investment Programmes under the ministry.
“To ensure transparency, institutional memory and dynamic impact assessment of the N-Power cluster, Batch C will now be administered through the National Social Investment and Information Management System NASIMS. Through this portal, beneficiaries will receive their stipends on time, have access to a wide range of industry specific content for leveraging enterprise learning, communicate their concerns and promptly receive feedback from the program implementation teams.
“They will experience a redefined and seamless beneficiary verification process, including efficient transition and exit management plan which will enable beneficiaries to be migrated automatically to the NEXIT Program for POSSIBLE placement and employment opportunities with federal government agencies”.
The Minister assured Nigerians that the selection process of the N_Power program will be based on merit and equitable representation across all strata of the country.
“Selection will ensure equitable regional and gender representation including persons living with disabilities. Following safety concerns due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ministry has taken concrete steps to ensure that the recruitment and
onboarding of N-power beneficiaries is carried out with relevant public safety protocols with a greater percentage of the onboarding process taking place online, utilizing the NASIMS framework”.
The N-Power Batch C launched today, is structured to onboard one million beneficiaries beginning with an initial 500,000 in the first stream and another 500,000 in the second stream.
This is in line with President Muhammadu Buhari’s vision of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in the next ten years .
All applicants for Batch C are however required to log into the N-power self service portal on www.nasims.gov.ng and update their records after which they will proceed to take the mandatory online test to progress to the next level of selection.
Information on how to log into the portal will be sent through sms and email to all Batch C applicants.
